Arden Craft Shop Museum's
Sunday Afternoons with the Artist, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- On Sunday, April 19, 1-3pm, Rob Montejo will present his first new paintings since 2005. Rob, a 13 year resident of Arden, was born in Chester, PA. He started painting in 2001 at the University of Delaware whilst finishing his degree in Political Science, graduating magna cum laude. Rob’s paintings focus on form and color. A prolific songwriter and one time major label recording artist for MCA/Universal, Rob currently devotes most of his artistic energy to writing, recording and touring with his band, The Sky Drops. The band will release its debut full-length recording Bourgeois Beat this April as well.
- Linda Parks is scheduled for December, 2009, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The artists will be available at the museum to visit with guests and answer questions during the afternoon of their exhibits. Enter at either the museum main entrance on Millers Lane or at the handicap accessible entrance on Cherry Lane.
Afternoon with the Artist is sponsored each month by the Arden Archives Committee. Volunteers open the museum every Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Admission is free.
